And in the case of #ForestofSecrets (both seasons) the title change shifts the focus from what the TWO investigators have to work their way through to being all about the person of one of them. As if Bae Doona's character wasn't in every way equally central and important.

Yes, he is a stock villain, and if I rewatched it now, he wouldn't seem unusual. But barely two months into my #KDrama experience, he was a bit of a shock. The character also served as a yardstick for me in #ForestofSecrets S1, where Lee Geung Young's SUPERB villain was his exact antithesis😍
