the only canon ship (even if it's a failed one) would be with urianger. she considers him an accomplice helping her with duty, but he is wholly dedicated to her because he loves her to obsession but knows it could never work. it's a lost cause, but he'd do anything to bring her back

the relationship is bittersweet. i imagine him like a widower. with moenbryda gone, placing himself at fault of losing minfilia and for holding secrets, it's fitting he griefs the loss of freya and holds some spite for viria until learns to love her for who she is, not who she was
