Metal drawer filled with ziplock bags of Magnolia fruits, each with an herbarium label; the top one, the only one fully readable, is for Magnolia 'Simple Pleasures', collected from Arboretum living collections accession #76-2007*1 (29 Aug 2019).

Two open herbarium cabinets; 50 cubies have metal drawers in them, two have wooden cases. Not evident is the fact that the wooden cases hold acorns; 11 of the metal drawers have post-it notes on them (and fruits inside, from Sapindaceae, Juglandaceae, Lauraceae, a few other families), two have larger notes tapes on them (they are working drawers); the remaining drawers are empty, just waiting for new fruits.

New fruit drawers arrived for the Morton Arboretum Herbarium (MOR)! An exciting day... it's nice to enter the new year feeling just that little extra bit organized.
