pink ranunculus topple over themselves. In their efforts to show off, they reach out until they literally spill over the edge of the raised garden bed.
This pretty plucky yellow flower is one of the maybe 10 wildflowers that made it thru the fall and winter, out of the more than 1/2 pound of California native wildflowers I spread out over the back hill last autumn.
Every spring and summer, it is my pleasure to document my Christmas Eve roses and thank Sara once again for the gift, now many years past, that truly keeps on giving.
