A zoom out of my mini cottage garden by my front walk. Some fading pink peonies can be seen, along with a scattering of red columbine. There are many pink roses on the border in the background. A peach rose is in the foreground under a variegated Japanese maple. Red Dr Hueys are rampaging across the scene. It has an informal and quite chaotic fee.

The same past Alex who planted mint in ground a few years ago 🤦heard about sunchokes and decided to try them. Nothing grew. I thought they were dead. THEY WERE NOT DEAD
They've taken over half my front bed. It's going to take days to dig (most of) them out. I'll never get them all. 😩
