My parents have a young ginkgo tree planted this spring that now has holes in the bark. I'm suspecting woodpeckers.

I found this #leech in my garden the other day. First time I've seen one. I have a small pond, but that's at the other end of the garden
I'm guessing this is a sign of good biodiversity. Online search about leeches seems a bit biased against them

Has anyone grown potatoes with mustard as a cover crop before?

I've tried it for pest control this year in 2/4 potato patches and while the pest control part seems to have worked, the potatoes (two different varieties) have just died on me, leaving me with many small/tiny 🥔🥔🥔🌱
