This was about as far as I got in #GBJam13, which was not far at all. I meant to dedicate the entire week to it, but real-life only gave me 2 nights, enough to put together a basic framework
A big lesson I'm finally learning is to just build a well-organized yet organic shmup template project ...
Here's some gameplay of Chain Mail, the game I helped make for #GBJam13! It's a Castlevania-like sidescroller where you've been sucked into a world of misfortune after ignoring a cursed email. I made the music/sfx & had so much fun putting it all together in a little over a week. Really proud of it!

I ran out of time to finish the story, so I got existential with it. I'm almost annoyed that the longest section of dialogue is going to be completely removed when I finish the game.😅

My brother and I finished our submission for #gbjam13 just a few hours before the deadline! “Fortuna and the Broken Mirror” is a top down Zelda-like where you play as Fortuna the black cat, on a quest to gather the 7 mirror shards and stop the white rabbit wreaking havoc with his cursed dice!

Our little would-be game for #gbjam13
You're a witch, escorting an unlucky black cat through the cursed forest. While doing that, you get to absorb the misfortune of the cat and burden yourself with multiple curses. Can you make it through the forest or will the curses take over?

I've finished another #godot game for a #gamejam, this time the #gbjam #gbjam13, I think it's pretty good (if light on content) for one week's worth of work.
I do wish I could fit more content in, but week long jams are very short when you can't crunch!

Since I want to make a short gameboy version of Noctheria to promote the main game, I decided to enter #gbJam13 and make a small project over the next few days just to learn how gb studio works.
It's surprisingly easy to use, it reminds me of my days in RPG Maker 2003
