Played the Edge of Darkness ("Meh of Darkness") #boardgames during #gencant. A 6/10. This is a card crafting game with an interesting monsters attack you cube tower. But found the game play dull. At least 3 of 8 turns were worthless. Might have been cuZ 2 player, maybe the available set of cards.
I can't go to GenCon, therefore it's #GenCant weekend. Game #1 is BombBusters. The bathroom lines are short and the bartender is a heavy pour. Happy GenCon and/or #GenCant all.

Since I'm not going to GenCon, I'm reflecting on my own gaming. In the last 2+ yrs, I have 6 of my top 10 boardgames played enough that they're in my top 21 (Libertalia is too good to exclude) based on playtime. Happy to get any game to the table but blessed that they're often my favs.

It's #GenCon season again, so that means another year of #GenCant. Keeping up my decades-long streak of not going to GenCon, mostly due to finances and/or it being the same weekend as the county fair. 4-H before D20, or something like that.

I was at #GenCant all weekend, so I kind of missed out on what happened at #GenCon. Can someone fill me on the hotness? What did you see or hear about at GenCon that got you excited?
Kind of a bummer there's no sign of #GenCant picking back up this year.
Oh, well. I'm still going to release some TTRPG stuff during that time, for people who can't make it out there.
