Two brown glazed jugs besides each other. They look very similar but the right one has a pewter lid. The jugs have a chunky body that actually looks like a body of a man wearing 16th century attire with a little cape and a smock shirt appearing from under his slashed upper garment. He's got arms closely pressed against his body and he's holding a glass and a jug. He's got a small face with a full beard, mustache and curls.
Which Bartmann jug is 500 years old, left or right? This dude is a true masterpiece of 16th century stoneware and I've just finished my first replica.
