A black and white close up photograph of a section of a pedestrian bridge over a railway line. A single hawser or cable, with a fitted stainless steel end cap, is bolted through a right angled bracket. The bracket is welded to an upright and also 45 degree girders - which also have some graffiti. All the components were originally treated for weather protection. Now though, having been exposed to the element for years, without repainting it is only a matter of time before something has to give. The backdrop is out of focus.
This 35mm film is Ilford Pan 400 rated at 320-ISO and developed in FX55 1+9 at 18°C for 12 minutes.

[I wasn't too happy with the scanning I did yesterday! Today I've altered the white balance to better match the light panel I'm using and stopped my lens down to F16 @ 1/20sec]
