Marinated some flank steak in chimichurri and served with red beans and rice, and poured fresh chimichurri over the top.

Flipped the steak every minute starting in a cold nonstick pan till it reached 135f and let it rest for 10 mins

Absolutely banging!

Gave my rice cooker a gentle scrub with some pink stuff, and now it looks as good as new!

Not bad to say it's probably 15+yrs old now and used regularly

It's no zojirushi, but it does what I need, and if I need even more rice, I use the pressure cooker

Didn't do Chicago deep dish, ended up having Neapolitan. One ribeye with prosciutto, chilli and parmesan, one mushroom and spicy sosig. And a garlic & parmesan cream bread with burrata salad for starters...

Topped one of the cooked focaccia after it baked with pesto,buffalo mozzarella (DOP of course!), prosciutto, and shaved 30month aged parmigiana reggiano and some more caramelised red onions and baked for 10 mins. BANGING!

heres a couple of animations building the lasagna - once i realised i wasnt going to fit more than 3 pasta layers in the pan, i made a second one with a bit less meat in. cooked (covered in foil) for half an hour. gonna freeze it once its fully cold for another night...

Made some infused oil overnight. A metric fuckton of dried Calabrian chillies infused at 180f overnight in the water bath. Just had a taste and it's spicy as fuck!

Can't wait to try it doused on some fried chicken later!

Just wanted to big up my Manchester eggs. This one was a duck egg from stonebridge city farm, steamed for 6.5mins, Ice bath, then pickled in gherkin juice overnight. Wrapped in black pudding and pork sausagemeat I ground myself then breaded in panko and deep fried at 160c for 7 mins
