In this acrylic mixed with oil painting, I drew multiple eyes merged into each other to symbolise the metaphor of multiple people watch you suffer or just to be here for the drama instead of helping. In this case It's about me facing my gr00mer face to face and fighting her for the last time. “All EYES On Us” is a personal drawing of mine that happened to me on my first year of university with my neighbour at the time, who used racist, homophobic and ableist ideologies to change me and tried to convert me back to religion *look up Inferno* while making me uncomfortable by telling inappropriate jokes about me by shipping me with other girls, when I was hanging out with my other friends instead of just her drove her crazy, causing her to threaten me about hurting them, isolating me; she made up lies about me harassing others despite me being introverted, (which she always complained about me), gossiped about me behind my back and told everyone that she will “k1ll me” just because and I’ve realised her abusive power against me and warned people about her. While we fought, she threatened to call the police that she will give me a criminal history to ruin my life. The other neighbours were there for the drama and didn’t do anything to calm both me and her down. My neighbour’s roommate (whom she stalked 2 years after fighting me.) is the one who tried to break the fight properly. This situation led me to have an anxiety disorder, I couldn't sleep for months, made me su1cidal and it made my depression worse. The worst part is that she’s currently working with CHILDREN after gr00ming me and others. This artwork is a reminder that discrimination can be entertaining to people who witnessed it rather than being a massive problem. Even if the authorities were involved, this type of cases always dropped out due to lack of evidence. This is my personal experience of it and trust me, everybody has a different story of this same issue with worse outcomes.
All EYES On Us: Eyes are told to be the mirror of who that person REALLY is. Whatever they are lively and innocent looking pacifists to suspicious and sinister looking monsters straight from hell.
