HMS #Exeter, one of 2 York class cruisers built in 1920s with 8 inch guns. One of 3 Royal Navy ships which cornered the pocket battleship #GrafSpee at the mouth of Rio Plata. The other two ships were HMS #Achilles and HMS #Ajax. HMNZS Achilles didn't have that designation until late'42.
