The black-and-white photograph depicts a passageway shaped as a "horseshoe arch" in the Great Mosque of Paris, whose architecture is inspired by North African mosques. I took the photo from the inside looking outwards. The passageway leads to the mosque's garden. Two women have stepped outside and are engaged in conversation, with the darkened passageway framing them. I have pixelated the face of the woman on the left.
A gate to the garden of the Grand Mosque of Paris, one of the largest mosques in France. It is in the 5th arrondissement of Paris.
