Kirby sings a little tune walking about when he stumbles upon a lone apple on a tree. Kirby looks at the apple with joy and tries to inhale it to no avail. Kirby then throws a pebble at the apple to knock it down before trying to rip the apple off the tree. Tiff observes Kirby from a bush, seeing him fall off the tree. Kirby looks sad before being alerted by the rustling of the bush. Tiff then jumps out of the bush to attack Kirby.

Tiff lets out a battle cry as she charges at Kirby. However, she trips over a pebble on the ground. Realizing that she fell next to Kirby, she gets up immediately and points her spear at Kirby. Kirby eats Tiff's spear, transforming into Spear Kirby.

Spear Kirby immediately uses his spear to attack, terrifying Tiff. However, Kirby actually strikes the apple, removing it from the tree. He takes a bite, and adores the taste. Kirby offers to share the other half of the apple to Tiff but before he knew it, she vanished.

Tiff runs away from Kirby in fear when she bumps into a furry wall. The wall turns out to be a Grizzo and it is angry. The Grizzo charges at Tiff and while the latter dodged the attack, she ends up crashing into a tree, injuring her arm. The Grizzo tries to finish Tiff off only for Spear Kirby to appear and retaliate at the bear with a Moon Drop. Kirby leaves the spear on the Grizzo's rear, discarding his Copy Ability.
