Wrong. Voting against a half-arsed bill is not necessary voting WITH another opposing party.
Both opposing parties could be voting against for different reasons. #LNP disagreed with the bill - #Greens thought it didn't do enough.
@greens.org.au got an extra ONE BILLION from #ALP for #HAFF!
Similarly, @albomp.bsky.social will try to promote their #HAFF which invests $10b onto the stock market but only actually spends $500m per year on housing (only secured thanks to the Greens senate negotiations)

At least, #Greens got an additional $1 billion in funding for public & community housing. Total of $3B is 6 X the maximum the govt was initially willing to spend on an annual basis.

I am not a fan of the #HAFF it outsources responsibility & delivery to a body?that will be more interested in generating fees for financial advisors than building anything.
A good govt, a progressive one would create a Federal Public Works body to build.

TIL that Albanese's Housing Australia Future Fund #HAFF has yet to build a single house or even (AFAICT) approve a project. If Labor had just spent $500m/year directly out of the budget, instead of this byzantine shuffle to keep the project off-budget, we could have had 000s of houses built by now
