A goose sits in short uncut bright green grass. The goose has a black eye and a black cap and face with black feathers curving down the back of its neck. The cheek is white and the white curves down from the cheek along the front and sides of the neck. There are diagonal black streaks in the white parts of the neck. There is a black ring around the base of the neck and a tawny breast. The goose’s back is brown with faint white edges to the feathers. The tail is almost black with a glimpse of a white rump.
