An expressive vintage 1960s 70s SIGNED handmade hammered copper enamel Ethnic Tribal design artwork tray. Entirely handmade hand fabricated repoussage (hammered from behind), then given profuse incised markings at front and genuine vitreous enamel! A three-lobed small tray with intricate decoration and colorful enameling, the design looks like tribal art to me but I can't say for sure where or when from exactly! Measures 8-3/8" across by 6.25" by about 1" high at highest points on the rim. Signed at front with artist initials, "SH". No other markings, and I'm guessing that it originally had some kind of sticker to identify the maker or origin. Could have one of those sticker hangers added at back if you'd like to hang it on the wall. I'm listing another similar artwork from the same estate today as well. Excellent vintage condition.

A stylized vintage 1960s 70s SIGNED handmade hammered copper enamel Ethnic Tribal design artwork. Entirely handmade hand fabricated repoussage (hammered from behind), then given profuse incised markings at front and enameled in bright colors! The figure looks like it has some ethnic tribal ceremonial or ritualistic meaning, and I'm not sure of the exact significance of it but it's striking and beautifully hand crafted! Very brightly colored genuine vitreous enamel throughout! Measures 7" by 7" square by about 1/4" high at rim. Signed at front with artist initials, "SS". No other markings, and I'm guessing that it originally had some kind of sticker to identify the maker or origin. I'm listing another similar artwork from the same estate today as well. Excellent vintage condition.
