This was definitely one of those days where I wished I lived to the west of where I worked instead of to the east. It was one *humdinger* of a head wind biking home today. #HeadWind #biking #nz
So out on a bike ride when I passed a field with a clutch of Oyster Catchers ~30), a chorus of Curlews (~20), (I think) a pocket full of Plovers (~30) and amongst them all, a solitary Skylark.
I stopped briefly, then back to face the headwind.
