This comic, #PearlsBeforeSwine, along with #GetFuzzy was my comedic relief during my year in Iraq 21 years ago.

I balanced it out w/ #TheseMenShallNeverDie & #HeavierThanHeaven.

Former is a WW2 book made in 1943 covering true stories from the front line (incl. my Grandpa). Latter a bio on Cobain.

Pic 1 = Excerpt from bio on Kurt Cobain, Heavier than Heaven by Charles R. Cross... After rehearsal they would drive to Kentucky Fried Chicken. "Kurt loved Chicken Littles from KFC," recalled Burckhard. Pic 2 = Kurt Cobain meal @ KFC: root beer float (root beer representing Kurt, he actually loved Barq's but KFC is owned by Pepsi now--Barq's is Coke's root beer, and ice cream aka "float" representing heaven), coleslaw, and 2 aforementioned Chicken Littles.
