As an ugly old woman I am serious mortified and offended that all historic heroines are always played by far too attractive women. I have reason to believe the real #HelenofTroy if she existed, was a unsightly cow, but, #white or #black , she is always portrayed by some young #beauty!

#HelenOfTroy was a Spartan Queen; wife of Menelaus. She was Greek (European). Although Homer's works are fiction later Greeks believed basic story to be true. Helen was considered to have been historical. She was later worshipped at a shrine called the Menelaion near Sparta - 1/2
