Still producing tomatoes though I've pulled some vines. A soft yellow colander is full of golden and yellow tomatoes, both paste and sandwich types. All delicious.

The bumblebees are slowing down as they come to the end of their lives. Here, three bumbles hang out in the hot pink fall asters, a cross between two varieties. The queen bumbles will overwinter, and the workers and drones will die. Always makes me sad.

Two very large beefsteak type tomatoes, the variety Pineapple. It is red and yellow and when cut open, similar. Very sweet, my favourites to grow every year, and though they get a bit cracked and dimpled, they are heavenly and I'll always grow them.
