Update about my deafness, and it isn't good news.

I added my thoughts plus my recent audiogram to the top of my high frequency hearing loss piece from 2024, after my updated hearing test last weekend.

And THEN, my audiology appointment. Updated hearing test confirmed my hearing has deteriorated again in past 2 years. 🙁

Took my hearing aids out while the TV was on normal volume.

It was like someone muted it 😐

I need to book another hearing test.

My most recent hearing test. Highlighted area is 'normal hearing'. Loss in all frequencies but profound loss in high frequencies, which means speech sounds like a bad telephone signal on a call, whilst I'm underwater. 🫥
