Go 2 is greatly underrated in the #XTC canon, not least by the band themselves. Special mention about the original vinyl package by #Hipgnosis A truly inspired, smart, cynical and perfect for the period.

A photo of the four band members standing in the grass at the cliff of Beachy Head in Sussex, surrounded by yellow wild flowers. With part of a blue vehicle visible in the back, the record cover's top reads in all black caps but the second line, and the third with yellow highlighting THROBBING GRISTLE bring you 20 JAZZ FUNK GREATS with to the cover's right a strip of its pink insert out and in the background, brown furnishing and beige tiles.

There was no need to dig through the bargain bins at Woolworth for this, but I am happy another #Hipgnosis cover found it's way to me. It feels intriguing, however, how these #jazz #funk greats don't sound like jazz at all. #ThrobbingGristle #vinylsky
