A screen shot of my very very rough attempt at a 3D model of a "phasebook like" disk drive by the concept artist Sheng Lam. The 3D object has no texture and is light beigey grey. It has the proportions of a portable 3.5" floppy disk drive and a smattering of surface details. The initial cutout for the entry port for the disk is on the front face of the drive. There is also the beginnings of a connection port on the right hand face of the drive towards the back.

The front third of the drive is a dark grey and the rear two thirds is mostly blue with some grey detailing and exposed metallic gold part.
hahaha. can you tell it's been almost two decades since i've had to do any real 3d modeling, because i sure as fuck can.
finally going to learn plasticity and figured that this particular piece from @8bitwizard.bsky.social would make a good challenge
