#formality as a child I was terrified to attend these kinds of #formal events.🙄 make one mistake and that can get you exiled to foreign countries for "school". Or arranged marriage. Basically, #disappearance. It's like, #mercy for #honorkillings for dishonoring our #noble and #righteous #ancestors.

I use to think being beaten for making a mistake or for whatever my family saw as dishonoring our family name and reputation was normal toughlove. Until I meet other parents who didn't see their children as property and don't believe in #honorkillings. Yes, I'm still in therapy. My family is psycho.

I wasn't always crazy. My family are ole world #conservative, strict, abusive and believed in #HonorKillings for dishonoring our #family. I was spared only bc we lived in #America, and we are #TheraVada = #vedic.
My family drove me crazy by my 40s, #unworthy and #forsaken, #disowned #leftover.
