For Sleeping Faun, I’m researching cults, Ancient Greek religion, Pan worship, and sacred sex, among other things. This book is also a follow up to Waking Pan, so I’ll be exploring some of the same themes but with different characters.

Finally had a second to do more #HotWetQA - most of my inspo comes from the nostalgia of early 2000s anime like Big O, Outlaw Star, and Cowboy Bebop, and a deep rooted love of sci-fi horror (and my Lisa Frankenstein obsession).
Lots of "what happens to a body in space" research is happening haha
The only thing I've published so far is fanfic, and I'm not sure that counts. But I'm really excited to publish my first original work! So far I've been playing around with formatting, and trying not to edit as I write too much. #HotWetQueerSummer #HotWetQA

It took me a bit to decide on a project for the #HotWetQueerSummer Jam, and I did go through a few ideas on the way. Not sure if I'll ever revisit them — I have far too many WIPs as it is! I have my notes saved, though. #HotWetQA

My project for the #HotWetQueerSummer Jam is largely inspired by the dark academia genre & aesthetic. I think the biggest influences are Dead Poets Society (1989) & The Devil's Backbone (2001).
As for research, it's been a lot about Latin, co-ed boarding schools, and life in the 1950s. #HotWetQA

I was going to write something about a couple of storm chasers facing a twister that was a little too "intelligent", but I had nothing but a premise and I knew seeing the Jam through would require a story with a more solid foundation.

Been on a nostalgia trip and a lot of the "retro" horror that crops up keeps missing two vitals things: trans MCs and men kissing. So I went "bet."
