Apart from #StormLilian on the 22nd (the remnants of #HurricaneErnesto), August was a rather boring month weather-wise. Warmer and drier than the 1981-2010 average, and dull but with high atmospheric pressure.

We had the second storm of the winter last night when the remnants of Hurricane Ernesto passed through. The next storm is due tonight. It's only August.
