Had to look it up. Gibbous is from late Latin gibbosus (humpbacked) and Latin gibbus (hump). I always thought it had something to do with gibbous monkeys. I can live with a humpbacked moon.

I needed to escape the madness for a bit and see if a hot springs soak would help my mind and body. They've made some changes at the Idaho City Springs--a catwalk splits the big pool now, and there's a massage yurt I wish I could have visited. Sure has changed since the old days! #IdahoEscape
