My artwork celebrates diversity, featuring ten individuals with unique skin tones spanning from fair to deep brown. Inspired by my trip to Japan, I briefly encountered the Japanese proverb "Ten people, Ten colours" (十人十色). At the time, I didn’t explore its deeper meaning, but later, I found it aligned with my artwork of the same title. The proverb reminds us that everyone is different, and "its significance is heightened in a country frequently considered homogeneous."
