My secret to art:

Step 1: Draw tons of little vector pieces.

Step 2: Move/bend them until it looks like something.

Step 3: Apply tons of gradient/brush effects after.

Step 4: Do it all over 5 times.

This simple head outline for a wind enemy has 15 pieces, lol.
