30 years ago, the National Library of Norway began archiving Internet content - starting with Usenet news from the no domain. Stored to CDs and properly catalogued.

In Harsha Madhyastha's (from @usc.edu ) #iipcWAC25 talk, he describes how to do quality assurance at scale when archiving lots of pages that contain lots of JavaScript. His team looked to identify cause of erroneous rewrites and has worked w/ the @webrecorder.net team to fix it.

László Tóth discusses his tool, warc-safe, at #iipcWAC25 for scanning WARC files for NSFW content: It takes a WARC, extracts recs, scans w/ ClamAV, and checks for NSFW content like nudity and pornographic content. It uses an AI that scans each image file. #webarchiving
