Two comic pages depicting a funny and romantic story between a human Aziraphale and Crowley (here Anthony) on a blind date. In the first page, Anthony, dressed in his usual black attire with sunglasses, is sitting at an outdoor restaurant, nervously complaining to himself about being set up on a blind date by his friend Beez. He fears it’s a prank. As he considers fleeing, Aziraphale arrives, all kind-faced and glowing, introducing himself warmly. Anthony is immediately stunned by Aziraphale’s radiant presence and thinks Aziraphale looks like an angel. They awkwardly but sweetly exchange greetings, with both internally panicking over how attractive the other is.
In the second page, now in colour, they are deeply engaged in conversation, sharing a bottle of wine. Anthony passionately rants about a nebula while Aziraphale lovingly admires him, thinking about how beautiful and brilliant Anthony is. Later, Aziraphale animatedly tells Anthony an incident in his bookshop where he scolded someone for mistreating a rare book, while Anthony gazes at him with adoration, thinking he could listen to him forever. The heart eyes are obvious.
