After reading up on what #Microslop plans on doing with Windows 12, I told my dad and he asked me to install #Linux on his #IntelNUC. He likes #Ubuntu so much on his laptop, I installed it on his NUC too. One of the easiest OS installs I've ever done. 99% flawless, everything just worked.

I may be a big fan of using Mini PCs like the Intel (now Asus) NUC for Homelab use, but are those cheap Mini PCs from small brands on Amazon really all that worth it? Maybe not, but all depends.

When using Intel NUC13 with USB-C KVM it does not detect monitor when switching back. The (not so obvious) solution is to connect a real monitor or HDMI EDID emulator to a mate HDMI port and to disable second monitor, as its not usable :)
