Hey, @support.bsky.team .... why am I suddenly #InvalidHandle? I've been using my personal domain for near a year with no problems. Domain validates, and DNS _atproto record has not changed. Pings nicely.

concerning the ⚠︎ invalid handle error: go to settings >account and >handle and type the name of your (old) handle. Click save. Quick remedy.

⁉️ Hey @bsky.app!! I changed my handle to a custom domain to self-verify a few weeks ago, and now many users and followers are telling me my handle is Invalid—can't be tagged and can't find my handle on 3rd party stats apps. Re-verified and sent you a support ticket last week.. HELP 🙏

What's up with all the #Bluesky folks with a label on their profile that says " #InvalidHandle"? Are these folks being told that they are #oxymorons? Do they not exist if they are not " #ValidHandles"? Will ICE round them up if they never become #Valid?

Apparently my handle was invalid.. And then when I verify my domain it says it's all good but won't update the handle..

No idea why..

This is weird. On the web, it's still showing #InvalidHandle; however, on the hamburger menu in the Android Bluesky app, my custom domain has returned. I guess it's taking it's sweet time to propogate.

Alright, so I reverified by DNS settings; however, the #InvalidHandle isn't changing. I'll let it sit overnight to see if the changes need time to propogate. If still broken tomorrow, I'll reach out to Bluesky customer service.

OOPS! #InvalidHandle. Now that my domain has transferred to namecheap, I need to go in and re-add the domain validation string.
