At the #ISE2025 meeting, Hubert Girault delivered a blistering plenary lecture. He told us how #electrochem is crucial for the energy transition, but lamented the way we teach it.
“We left EC in the hands of materials scientists, and they made a mess of it!”
The popularity of the general session at #ISE2025 was severely underestimated; standing room only.
We didn’t get a liquid|liquid #electrochem session at the #ISE2025, but there are quite a few of us in the general session.
Very nice talk in the morning by Rob Dryfe about electrochemistry at an aq|aq ITIES.
Something we tried and failed to do about 10 years ago.
