I realised today how irritating the overuse of quotation marks could be!
I mean "literally" they are "everywhere": pun, emphasis, foreign terms, let alone direct speech.
My #author doesn't like using #italics it seems.

I never really learned how to use hashtags because I’m actually an ancient immortal supernatural creature, and a lot of these modern trappings are quite a mystery to me. I just hashtag any old words—possibly just for the thrill of seeing them highlighted in a format devoid of #italics.
