You can see my warping board (a big wooden rectangle with dowels poking out that you thread your yarn around. Used to measure out the warp and keep a nice even tension) with black and white cotton yarn measured onto it. It’s balanced on a painting easel to keep it at a nice height for me to work on. In the background you can see the tv that my partner is playing mechwarrior on.

Back at the warping board. This one is a slight variation on the #JSTSchoolofWeaving colour and weave gamp. Something light to get me back behind the loom.

6 tea towels are folded in half and draped over a wooden railing. Each towel is a different pattern but all are some combination of white, dark gray, and red.

Finishing up some projects this weekend! These are Jane Stafford’s #oslotowels, although I admittedly went off-book on some (a lot) of it. Following directions is not my strong suit 😅

This warp feeds into so much stuff that #JaneStafford teaches. I am in the middle of season 5 and this warp still gets a regular workout and update. It is really worth doing. Some of the colour gamps coming up soon are amazing as well.
