A painted portrait of a woman made of snow with icicle hair. Her arms are crossed in such a way that they showcase the flowers growing out of her chest in a protective manner, rather than in a typical self-soothing manner. The flowers chosen were ones that bloom when the snow first begins to melt: aconites, crocus, and snowdrops. There is a warm orange light emanating from the flowers. The woman looks down at the flowers expressionlessly while a water droplet falls from one of her hair icicles. Painted in 2025 by Jasmint in Krita (first time using the Memileo brushes).
Sharing an older work I made for the February 2025 krita-artists.org monthly challenge! The theme was flora/the coming of spring.
