I enjoy services at my synagogue but it's meditative for me, not social. I'm in an awkward age cohort there & it's hard to make friends. But I've been reciting mourner's kaddish since my mom died, & someone in charge noticed and delivered me a sympathy challah! A nice gesture. #JewsOfBluesky 🥰

My favorite night of #Chanukah is when it overlaps with #Shabbat, then you can have *all the fire*. Husband made the challah (Molly Yeh's unbeatable potato challah) and the kiddush cup is from our trip to Venice this year. Bonne Maman jam, of course, because they resisted the Nazis. #JewsOfBluesky
