Not looking to place blame on this tragic accident, just providing what I have found so far.
CNN posted a new video today of the crash.
Also ADS-B for 5342 had its last alt at 275ft, helo route ceiling was 200ft.

Last log per ADS-B from 5342 showed alt of 275ft.
Indicating collision occurred at or above the altitude.
Ceiling for Helo route there is 200ft. This along with the crew apparently not actually seeing the plane appears do far to be one cause. Now we need to get facts from NTSB to confirm.
The President blamed one of the most horrific aviation accidents in US history on…DEI. What a reprehensible, selfish and disgusting man.
