At 7-1/2 weeks, #JBS24 is self-feeding & wingercising like a champ. Awaiting breakfast, JBS24 found lots of leftovers & showed their beautiful wings for the cam with some impressive wingers.

4-1/2-week-old #JBS24 is in full clown feet and thriving.
Natal down waning, pin feathers sprouting, and some rather impressive clown feet growing. Great to see this little one doing well and progressing as expected.

#JBS24 is 3 weeks old. The eaglet is spoiled for choice at mealtimes with Mom and Dad both offering a variety of prey. JBS24 is growing up fast, now sporting grey thermal down and almost always a full crop.

In N. Texas, the 2-1/2 week old eaglet JBS 24 had a good day, by all accounts. Dual feedings are still quite common and while I wish JBS 25 was here to enjoy those meals as well, I am grateful that JBS 24 is thriving.

10-day-old JBS24 & 9-day-old JBS25 are lucky wee fluffballs. Mom & Dad consistently fill them to the brim. Tandem feedings are common and a joy to watch. Here, Mom & Dad feed both eaglets and even each other a little.

JBS 24 & JBS 25 are very well fed. Even have tiny baby crops & a full pantry. But instinct has kicked in & 1 eaglet has begun food competition ~ it’s pretty minor. The cuteness wins over any bonking stress.
