I did a thing this week! I was a bit shaky but I gave a keynote at #KCDUK on recruiting and creating a sense of belonging in #OpenSource communities. A sociotechnical strategy mostly with open source tooling.

At #kcduk Dan Lorenc shared that according to US govt agency, 90% of software used today is #opensource, but 90% of exploited vulnerabilities are in the 10% that’s proprietary code
