I booked tickets within the hour of the Litli Hrutur eruption starting in summer 2023 and this was the first glimpse from the airplane (right in the picture). The area was closed however due to uncontrolled moss fires #litlihrutur #keilir #reykjanes #iceland #eruption #lava #mossfires
