I’ve now made five practice blank books using #kettlestitch sewing technique; two of which I can call successful. The other three are not failures; but bookbinding work tends to bring out some latent perfectionism. I let that go. I will make another practice book before teaching a workshop later.

I took a photo of a reproduction of a van Gogh drawing and made a ceramic transfer. With that i made a tile with which i bound a small book. The back is used leather i once took of a chair.
