Spent this week painting shiny silvery nmm on Apollons armor, including reflections of his flaming sword.

21 days left until I want to bring the entire finished piece to SMC. Wish me luck! 😅

After the first ~180 work hours across 10 months I've finally started working on the character model steering the space chariot! 😂

I started with the least accessible surfaces and am now working my way up to the easiest to reach spots.

Finished up the platform piece for the chariot and got to a pretty nice level with Apollons flaming sword :)

We're getting to a point where changes become almost imperceptible inbetween posts.

The most visible addition is the red #osl at the front of the thrusters, but besides that I spent the time touching up the brass #nmm all over this part.

The two horses left and right are very colorful due to the many galaxies, nebulae and stars freehanded onto them, but also feature metallic surfaces (painted with non-metallic paints) that are either shiny brass or shiny blue-ish looking. I'm making the galaxy freehand stuff into light sources that have an effect on the nmm. I think that connects horse and metallics nicely.

14 sessions, 7 weeks, and therefore roughly 30 hours of painting in.

I've painted the last bit of space theme on the horses, specifically the head, legs and hoofs, and started working on the nmm, brass first.

Side view of the front half of the first sci-fi horse for 'Apollon God of Sun', the kimera models produced kit, I'm painting as a commission. This week I added lavender-purple type non metallic metal to the second group of details I want to look like metal plates. Next to that there's the brass around the neck, face and some tubes and the horses body itself is covered in tiny white dots for stars and some nebulae and other celestial bodies.

I went with something completely different and likely unexpected for the secondary metals.

Main goal was that it is a clear separation from the space theme, just like the brass.
