A side-view portrait of King Rauru and Queen Sonia in a joyous embrace, reunited in the afterlife as bright green strands of sacred light form a heart around them. Rauru is an anthropomorphic dragon man with a goat-like face, similar overall to a satyr. His skin is a deep grey-green and his pointed, fur-covered ears stretch long and wide like wings on either side of his head. His long, cascading waves of hair, normally pearl white, are now darkened with blue-purple shadows. This includes the fur on his ears. He wears a silky purple black mantle around his shoulders and chest, ending at midriff level, with a pattern of small gold triangles. The portrait cuts off at his waist. Sonia is a Tolkien style elvish woman, her appearance fully human, with sharp pointed ears. Her hair falls in cascading waves of gold, rising as if caught by a breeze, the ends forming flame-like shapes. Her skin is a deep tan, her blade-like ears angled upward, much shorter and narrower than Rauru’s. She wears a loose white tunic over a deep red skirt, and there are ivory white square spiral tattoos on her arms and legs. There is also a large ivory eye on her shoulder, with three long rays stretching down her arm. The background is a dark blue-black with faint dark purple clouds, as if outer space. Iridescent light gleams in the couple’s hair, bright green stars flashing in Rauru’s. Rauru, on the viewer’s left, has lifted Sonia up so their faces meet, since he is much taller than her. His left hand supports her lower back at waist level, cradling her as she curls around him in a seated pose, her knees raised nearly to his shoulder level on either side of him. Rauru’s right arm, almost fully hidden by Sonia’s hair, wraps tightly around her upper back just under her shoulders. They smile gently into each other’s faces, eyes closed in perfect harmony.

This Art took me a little long to draw, but it was worth it. How it came to this Artwork (short Storytime): I was the last 2 or 3 weeks at the dentist and I saw a portrait of Gustav Klimt "The Kiss" in the waiting room. And because I'm a Zelda Fan, I got inspired by the portrait to draw the pose for King Rauru and Queen Sonia from Zelda Tears of the kingdom. I started on the 15. November and finished the Artwork yesterday.

The image cuts off just above his feet.

Image 3 of 3. The scene has turned to evening shades of moonlit blue and dark green, with glowing aurora like wisps here and there. The Goddess statue is more shadowed and the iridescent patina stands out even more, as if glowing. The woman’s white tunic has also taken on an iridescent tone, with light blues and rosy pinks. Rauru has turned to look at the woman, standing in profile, his expression curious and cheerful. He now wears a long purple robe with gold accents on the hem, neckline, and sleeve. There is a scatter of white stars down the robe, and the bottom of the robe is pulled slightly back like a cape, so you can see a deep burgundy red skirt underneath. Rauru holds his long arms clasped behind his back in a casual yet slightly shy stance.
