fun fact, a month ago i was at the pet shop to buy something. but the tank wasnt cycled yet. charlie was there back then. i was sad i couldnt buy him that day. i was SO happy to see he was still there a month later because apparently only blind bitches buy fish there until i came along #kitfeesh

oh, also back in january, i bought a second tank (known in the hobby as MTS, "multiple tank syndrome"), a nano tank on my desktop. now that it's cycled, charlie the betta moved in two days ago. he is god's most perfect creation and i will kill for him #kitfeesh

sorry, spent most of february sick in bed. didnt feel like doing anything but play stardew valley tbh.
in the meantime, i got amano shrimps for my main tank. big, greyish shrimp. they do a very good job of cleaning and started nibbling my plants. so here's supplementary zucchini. #kitfeesh

this was the most stressful (and the first and only) week i've had with my aquarium... first, i restocked the huge gap in my tank from rehoming the rosy tetras with neon tetras. only for them to get ichthyo a day later! tiny, white parasites that can end deadly for the fish #kitfeesh

bad and good #kitfeesh news this week: i rehomed my seven rosy tetras because the gender ratio did not turn out well. what were supposed to be 2 males with 5 females turned out to be 5 males with 2 females. lot's of uh, territorial bloodshed once they grew up...
