#AoNZ folks, how difficult is it to withdraw #Kiwisaver funds for hardship? Hubs was talking about putting some more on our mortgage to cover a very short pay and some expenses, but it seems far more sensible to use my modest Kiwisaver balance rather than extend our mortgage and pay interest.

I have decided to switch my #KiwiSaver out of High Growth to Conservative as I don’t want to get hit when the #AI bubble bursts.

In the #NZBudget25, the Govt contribution to #Kiwisaver was halved.

For a 20 year old joining kiwisaver, assuming it compounds at 4%, this change will cost our next generation over $33,000 over the lifetime of their kiwisaver.
