Snagged a lil sumthn from Shatila for my grandmother’s 101st ‼️ birthday. She had 16 children, still loves alone, will -not- let me do the dishes, absolutely doesn’t give a single FUCK. She says the first 100 years are easy, incase ya’ll needed a little perspective.

This is #knafeh, a baked Arab #dessert made with #phyllo dough, filled with #Akkawi #cheese, soaked in #qatir syrup, and garnished with #pistachios. It's very good but rather sweet and the shown amount is more than enough for two people.
